Staking

Staking is different than Interest account. Staking is more involved outside of an exchange but can be a lot easier keeping coins on the Exchange to not have to deal with the hassle or having to deal with slashing. Staking offers a variable interest rate per delegator or exchange and may require a vesting\lockup period. NOT YOUR KEYS NOT YOUR COINS applies to these exchanges.

Also in legal issues if you use a staking service like Coinbase and it defaults then that crypto becomes part of the litigation. Say it with me NOT YOUR KEYS NOT YOUR COINS.

Staking chains are not without the challenges of slashing on their own but if its a risk you want to take I suggest a hardware wallet for staking and doing it from your own wallet.
